Nanny Needed
Many of us begin the journey of parenthood from very different standpoints. Some of us are committed to raising our kids ourselves without outside help. Some need to continue to work for a variety of reasons. Some are committed to career and parenthood and seek a balance of the two. For most of us, our original notions of what things would be like and how we manage parenthood and childcare evolve with the realities that life presents to us. Inevitably we need help and for many, we start down the path of discovering that a baby-sitter or nanny is needed to make things work and then going on to post a nanny wanted ad to the world to help find the help we need. But how do you find the best nanny possible once this situation arises?
If you fall into the category of “nanny wanted” there are many things to keep in mind when starting down this path. Primarily, what kind of nanny do you need, what jobs do they need to perform in terms of taking care of the kids and helping at the house? Is a drivers license needed? Will they be driving the kids to activities or watching them at home?
