BestNanny.com is the premier resource for researching nanny, baby-sitter, aupair and other child care placement services online. We share our experiences of searching for help with our children, the experiences we had and reviews of potential resources we think you might find helpful. We hope you find this website and blog a valuable resource in your search for quality childcare and as a support community for parents in general. Our intention is to help you find the services and communities that will best help provide support for you as parents and care for your children while you are at work.
We are a married couple with two children, a boy and a girl, both of whom are still in pre-school. We’ve interviewed many many nannies, baby sitters and child care providers and have gone through many different Nannies, Baby-Sitters and pre-schools. We have had our nanny leave with no notice. We had a pre-school burn down over the mothers day weekend and we had our son come home every day crying from a pre-school he did not like. In all likelihood (unless you are very lucky!) you will also go through several tries before you find something that works for you and your child. This is not an easy process, and at the same time it is a huge milestone in the lives of children and their parents. We know (have lived through) the worries, concerns, anxieties, relief, excitement and happiness in finding the best care taker(s) for the most important person(s) in your life. We are here to share our personal experience and let you know that you are not alone in your search and that the help you need is out there if you know how to look for it. We hope that you participate and contribute to the community!
